Hi, I’m Jelesha!
I’m a passionate and dedicated counselor who believes healing happens in safe, supportive
spaces where people feel truly seen and heard. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Integrated
Professional Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and later completed
my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. My educational
journey reflects my deep commitment to understanding people from multiple perspectives and
supporting them in meaningful, practical ways.
I chose counseling because I have always felt called to make a positive impact in the lives of
others—especially children and families. I understand how early experiences shape who we
become, and I believe that when children and adolescents are given the right tools,
encouragement, and emotional support, they can thrive. My goal is to partner with families to
strengthen communication, build resilience, and create environments where everyone feels
empowered.
I especially enjoy working with children, adolescents, and families. I bring warmth, patience, and
creativity into sessions, helping young clients express themselves in ways that feel natural and
safe. Whether we’re building coping skills, navigating life transitions, or strengthening family
bonds, I strive to create a space that feels welcoming, collaborative, and hopeful.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: every person deserves support, understanding, and the
opportunity to grow. I’m honored to walk alongside my clients as they build confidence, healing,
and lasting change.
I am looking forward to meeting you and working alongside you on this journey!
