Ash Sperry, APC

Therapist
Welcome! Whether you or the young person in your life are new to counseling, or it is a familiar practice for you, it takes great effort and courage to take steps to go beyond what you already know.
I’m Ash (she/her), and so glad you’ve found yourself here. To me, counseling is a shared experience, and my intention is to minimize any barriers that may make the process more difficult. I strive to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and non-judgmental by practicing with curiosity and openness. Joining others in their experience has always been a natural part of who I am and one of my “whys” for choosing counseling.
I received my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Vermont and am working to become a Registered Play Therapist. Over the past decade, I have worked in the mental health field in various clinical settings including therapeutic schools, youth crisis programs, and psychiatric inpatient care. These experiences have shaped my passion for supporting children and adolescents who are navigating trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, behavioral challenges, and mood concerns. My therapeutic style blends narrative therapy, CBT, ACT, play-based approaches, and mind-body practices to help foster emotional regulation and inner strength.
Outside the counseling space, you’ll often find me outdoors camping, kayaking, or spending time with my partner and pup. I also enjoy fantasy novels, puzzles, and the thrill of a good UNO match (or any game, really!). I give it my all to show up as my authentic self-grounded, playful, and compassionate – with the hope that you will feel safe enough to do the same. I look forward to seeing how your journey unfolds!
Ash is clinically supervised by Brandy Rogers, LPC, CPCS, ACS, RPT-S (GA License: LPC006397), working toward independent licensure in compliance with Georgia state licensing requirements.
