Nitsan Jakob, LPC

Therapist
Sessions offered in English & Hebrew | Licensed in Georgia & Florida
Welcome! I'm Nitsan, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), dedicated to helping you embrace the freedom of choice. I see my clients as partners on a journey of self-discovery, where we explore who they are and who they wish to become. In our sessions, you can expect a blend of authenticity and humor—sometimes laughing, sometimes crying, but always growing.
I use evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Additionally, I incorporate Gestalt therapy techniques, making our sessions engaging and insightful. My goal is to help you find your strengths, make informed decisions, and take control of your life.
With a person-centered approach, I emphasize unconditional acceptance and positive regard, free from judgment. I believe there's no single right way to live; what works for one person may not work for another. I work with clients of all ages—from children aged 8 and up to adolescents, adults, and parents—helping them broaden their horizons and step out of their comfort zones.
As a bilingual immigrant and mother of twins, I bring a multicultural perspective to my practice. I have extensive experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, understanding the importance of considering each person's unique cultural context.
My professional background includes experience in hospital and inpatient facilities, outpatient and community settings (CSB), schools, and community outreach programs, both in the U.S. and overseas. I hold dual master's degrees in family counseling (M.A.) and school counseling (M.A.).
I’m excited to work with you and support your journey to self-discovery and personal growth. Feel free to reach out for a consultation.
