Therapist
Hi! I’m Brittany, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where children, adolescents, and adults can feel heard, understood, and encouraged. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, and other challenges that can make everyday life feel overwhelming.
I believe therapy should be as unique as the person sitting across from me. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing, so I enjoy incorporating different techniques based on each client’s personality, needs, and goals. My approach may include play therapy, art-based interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices. Most importantly, I want my clients to feel comfortable being themselves. Together, we can build on the strengths they already have while developing practical tools for coping, emotional regulation, resilience, and personal growth.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University after completing my undergraduate studies at the University of North Georgia. Over the years, I have developed a special passion for working with children and adolescents, including at-risk youth. This population is incredibly close to my heart. I love the creativity, honesty, imagination, and resilience that young people bring into the therapy room, and I’m continually amazed by their capacity for growth.
I truly believe that sometimes what a child or teenager needs most is a steady person in their corner, someone who will listen without judgment, encourage them through the hard moments, and help them recognize the strengths they may not yet see in themselves. It is a privilege to be that person for the young people I work with and to support their families along the way.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you can usually find me doing something creative. I love crocheting, building LEGO sets, experimenting with new recipes, and getting lost in a good book. I also love spending time with my dog, Piper, and my nephews, who bring plenty of laughter, silliness, and joy into my life.
Whether I’m working with a child learning to understand big emotions, a teenager trying to find their footing during a difficult season, or an adult working toward greater balance and well-being, my goal is the same: to offer a genuine, compassionate space where you can feel supported, discover your strengths, and continue moving toward the life you want for yourself.
Im looking forward to meeting you! Please reach out with any questions.
