Kyleigh Swanburg, M. Ed, Ed. S

Hi, I'm Kyleigh! I am a professional counselor with over ten years of experience supporting adolescents, young adults, and their families, particularly during times of transition, uncertainty, and growth. I hold a Master’s Degree in Education, an Education Specialist Degree, and I am currently under supervision working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. My background as a school counselor has given me a front-row seat to the pressures young people face today—academically, socially, emotionally, and internally—and has shaped my commitment to creating a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out to be taken seriously.

 

My therapeutic approach is person-centered and grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In our work together, I focus on helping clients understand themselves more fully, identify their values, and build practical skills for navigating anxiety, stress, self-doubt, and life transitions. Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” who you are—it’s about learning how to live a meaningful, authentic life even when things feel messy, overwhelming, or uncertain. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can show up as you are and explore who you’re becoming.

 

On a personal level, I am married and the proud mom to three elementary-aged children. My family keeps me grounded and constantly learning about growth, resilience, and connection. I value creativity and self-expression through arts and crafts, music, and musical theater, and I love exploring new places with family and friends. I’m also an avid listener of audiobooks and podcasts—both for enjoyment and ongoing learning—because curiosity and growth matter to me personally, not just professionally.
