Ashlyn English, LMSW

Therapist
Hey everyone, I’m Ashlyn English and I am looking forward to going on this journey with you!
I strive to create a warm, safe, and affirming space where you will feel heard, supported, and empowered. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
I am passionate about supporting young adults and adults navigating life changes, emotional stressors, and moments of growth. My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, deepen your self-awareness, and move toward a more balanced fulfilling life. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), focusing on understanding how thoughts influence emotions and behaviors.
Together, we work on identifying unhelpful thinking patterns, developing healthier perspectives, and building skills that support positive, meaningful change. I believe in strengthening resilience, increasing self-awareness, and helping build lasting confidence.
I graduated with my bachelor's in 2024 and immediately began working with domestic violence survivors. Working with survivors has also given me experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, and PTSD, to name a few. While working, I completed grad school through the University of Kentucky and graduated with my master's in 2025 with a certification in trauma-informed care. I recently obtained my state associate license in November of 2025.
2025 was also a big year for me because I got married! Aside from counseling, you can catch me with my partner and two wild pups. I love simple joys- morning coffee, sunrises, and getting lost in a good book. I am happiest when the sun is out and the weather is warm. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to show up for you and walk alongside you on your journey.
Ashlyn is under clinical supervision, working toward independent licensure in compliance with Georgia state licensing requirements.
